It was the most anticipated trip in my life. The weather in Poland this summer was not spoiling, so I dreamed even more about a holiday full of sunshine. Hot Sicily was the best solution to satisfaction my needs. Despite the problems with the rented cars, which refused to obey us almost every day, we managed to see some interesting places.
We started our tour from Ragusa. An old town set on a hill, filled with baroque buildings is perfect place for long hikes. The next day we went to the south of Sicily to Agrigento, where is the world’s largest archaeological park – Valle dei Templi. We find here temples from ancient Greece, single examples of Roman buildings and underground catacombs. For the last sightseeing we went to Syracuse which is located in a picturesque scenery in the eastern part of Sicily. In the evening we reached the charming Noto, which impresses with baroque architecture.
