Venice is a world famous tourist and cultural center. It is here that the world-famous carnival takes place, where masks are the main element of the party’s clothes, which can you buy at every step.
Venice is a city of countless canals and bridges, so the most popular means of transport are water trams -vaporetto. Being in the center, the first steps are directed to St. Mark’s Square that appears to be much bigger on a TV screen than it really is. Here you can admire magnificent monuments such as the Basilica with a bell tower, the Doge’s Palace or the Bridge of Sighs.
Venice is associated with romanticism and her symbol are gondolas with lovers moving through the canals. Gondolas are one of thoe things that come to mind first about this beautiful Italian city. It is the biggest symbol of Venice and the ride is not cheap – a classic 30-minute cruise costs 80 euros.
